    tasty breakfast

Had a proper lovely time here, mate! The staff were a peach, real helpful, and the breakfast spread was well tasty, especially those fresh waffles! But the bathroom could do with a bit of sprucing up, felt a bit basic innit.

great welcome , but basic bathroom

The welcome at check-in was warm , making me feel instantly at ease. The room felt spacious , providing a comfortable environment for my stay. Breakfast had a well-organized setup with a good variety, making it easy to start the day right.

The bathroom was basic, lacking any luxurious touches.

    Unexpected Charm Amidst Chaos

The quaint river view from our room was delightful, and family-friendly breakfast options were plentiful and delicious. Staff went out of their way to assist us during our stay.

    friendly staff
    heating issues
    noisy surroundings

Efficient and friendly staff made our stay pleasant.

The room I stayed in had numerous issues. The heating system didn't work properly, leaving us uncomfortable throughout the night. we found ourselves in an area filled with noise and disturbing sights, making it hard to relax. The cleanliness could also use significant improvement, as I noticed dust and debris in several corners.

    clean room
    comfy mattress
    nice bathroom
    poor breakfast
    broken sockets

the room was very clean, comfy mattress and big bed, loved the bathroom with the modern shower and rituals toiletries were a nice touch. the air conditioning was a lifesaver since it was super hot, and we had plenty of towels for the whole family. also, the coffee machine was great!

breakfast was not as good as i expected for a mercure hotel, and there were some sockets that weren't working.

    Great stay with comfy beds!

I had a lovely time here! The staff was super friendly and made check-in a breeze. My room had an amazing view of the river, which was a nice touch. The fitness room was huge! Just wish the WiFi was a bit faster at times. Dinner at the restaurant was tasty too, pretty good value for the money!

    parking issue

I checked into the hotel expecting a seamless experience, but it started off with a hiccup. After raising the issue, I finally got the correct room, but the initial irritation lingered. The parking situation was a bit tense. I prepaid for parking but found insufficient space. Thankfully, one staff member moved their car to accommodate mine. noise was quite distracting at times, particularly around the reception and common areas. I must say the dining area stood out. The breakfast layout impressed me with options like a waffle machine and freshly made omelettes—definitely a highlight! The room had decent amenities, but I wish the decor felt a bit more modern. it had potential, but communication and availability seemed lacking at times.

The breakfast spread had some decent offerings, including sweet options like pastries alongside savory items. The spacious rooms provided a comfortable setup, perfect for resting up between adventures.

I couldn't get better ventilation because the windows barely opened, and the heating system seemed out of whack. As for the electrical setup in the room, good luck turning off the bathroom light without awakening all the other lights. The location had its downsides too. a bit too much noise from the streets and visible litter around the area. And let's not forget the intermittent WiFi issues, which made it tough to get anything done online. there were plenty of quirks that really shouldn’t be happening, especially for what you’re paying.
